Here is a bit more info as asked for



SS -Obersturmfuhrer Ludwig Elasser was born on August 1st 1903 in Furth/Bayen, he joined the SS on Sepember 1st 1930 and
recceived SS- Ausweis- NR 4212

His documented awards are as follows.

NSDAP Herbstparade Nurnberg 2-9-1933 propaganda pin
NSDAP Herbstparade Nurnberg 2-9-1934 propaganda pin
SS-ZIVIL- Abzeichen NR-2929
Ehrenwinkel fur alte kampfer (Winkels Des Alten Garde )

Totenkopfring der SS
Julleuchter
SA- Sportbabzeichen in Bronze

great history...these kind of dagger ( SA and SS ) are copy of the Antique roman short blade, like the III Reich eagle, and other symbol, the Waffen SS was the new famous "Teutonic knight" order with these terrible rules...

Lovely SS dagger Zander
That is a real beauty of a numbered SS.
I like the SS numbeered daggers very well. Have some of them numbered into my collection.
