Tunics of the LAH
Anybody have tunics from the LAH Division? Here is one that belongs to a friend of mine that I would love to have in my collection. It's an SS-Sturmann with the slip on embroidered LAH monograms on the shoulder straps. Tunic is stenciled SS-BW.

Re: Tunics of the LAH
I guess nobody has tunics from the LAH. I guess this is going to be a short thread.
Here is another one: this is an SS-Rottenfuhrer of Signals tunic. It is an early Army tunic with mid-war era insignia. The LAH embroidered ciphers have been cut out of the slip ons and sewn directly to the straps. This tunic originally came from Ray Embree's collection. Ray acquired this in the late 1950s from the actual Waffen-SS veteran who wore it. It is now in the collection of Willi Schumacher and was part of one of his exhibits this year at the National Civil War/WWI-WWII Show in Richmond last August. Willi's exhibit was Waffen-SS Divisions in Italy.

Well in this case too my friend has the provenance and the history of it... from the veteran who wore it to Ray Embree to George Petersen to Kevin Mahoney to Willi Schumacher. All three collectors are experts in the field of Waffen-SS garments. The brown stain on the front of the tunic is spilled coffee.

Here's a super LAH tunic; nice and early wartime... an SS-Hauptscharfuhrer with the early RZM-styled cuffband, sleeve eagle and the silver metal LAH metal ciphers... not to mention a DKiG in cloth!!!

Well that's all of the LAH tunics that I have access to... I guess this kills this thread.
